ImageInternational Football Betting syndicate, Pinbridge, on Monday launched a football betting pools in Ghana ahead of the start of the Premier League season.
The game will be known as Winner 1X2 and it will held as every week with fans predicting the outcome of of a list of 12 matches in Ghana, Europe or the African Premier Leagues.Players who predict all 12 matches will win a jackpot to be shared among them, while those who predict 11 to 9 matches correctly stand a chance of winning cash prizes.The Ghana Football Association has agreed a 10-year deal with Pinbridge as the only betting company in the country."All over the world there's this thing happening and the benefits that it brings to the game is what must be highlighted," FA President, Nyantakyi told Ghanasoccernet.com"Our clubs stand a change of reaping and this happened to our clubs at the right time.We hope it runs smoothly in Ghana."We hope they can address the social costs associated with betting."Source: Ghanasoccernet
