Black Queens head coach Yusif Basigi is unfazed with the tough draw handed Ghana at the African Woemn Championship in Novemeber.
The senior female national team have been placed in Group B alongside defending champions and rivals Nigeria, Mali and Kenya.
Ghana will be hoping for a better championship after failing to progress from the Group stage of the last edition in Namibia.
‘’I anticipate a tough tournament. Playing against a country like Kenya who is new to the terrain is always very difficult because you don’t know much about them’’ He told JOY Sports
‘’Their style of play is not known which makes it very difficult.’’
‘’We have not started camping yet but we are focus on a good strategy. I am confident we will qualify out of the group’’
The championship will commence on 19th November with the Queens opening their account with Kenya before facing Nigeria – a country they have never beaten at the African championship.
Their final game will be against Mali
