Driving into his players the need to avoid any trace of complacency is perhaps Sellas Tetteh's best approach to their qualifier against Sierra Leone in the 2015 Africa Youth Championship.
The Black Satellites will host Sierra Leone on Saturday at the Tamale Stadium.
Ghana hold a comfortable two-nil lead from the first leg and need a positive result to reach the last round of qualifying for a place at the Championship to be staged by Senegal next year.
Tetteh believes his team has the quality to complete qualification but he is imploring his Black Satellites not to get ahead of themselves.
"Complacency is the main concern for us. We have done great in our preparations but need to do away with any form of complacency," Sellas Tetteh told www.ghanafa.org on the eve of the match in Tamale.
"We hold the lead from the first leg but the tie is not over. Our opponents are under no pressure. Our approach must be good and make it possible for us to advance."
The Ghana coach expects Sierra Leone, who are chasing the game to go on the attack.
"We must be careful. I don't expect them to sit back. As we lead, they will come out fighting for turn around the deficit but we can take advantage of that and utilize the spaces they might leave behind."
A win for Ghana will send through to the next stage where fourteen teams will compete for the seven slots available at the finals.
Ghana are three-time winners of the Championship and silver-medalists at the last finals.
