Ghana's Black Stars have moved two places up in the latest FIFA ranking following their recent performance in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
Otto Addo's side, having been moved upward by one place in the last ranking, has now moved to the 73rd position as far as the global ranking is concerned.
The progression follows the Black Stars' performance during the October 2025 international window, where they faced Central African Republic and Comoros in the World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana recorded a 5-0 win over Madagascar in Morocco before beating the Comoros 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium to finish top spot in Group I of the qualifiers.
Despite the improvement in the global ranking, they, however, remain unchanged in the continental ranking.
Ghana sit 14th as far as the ranking of African countries is concerned.
Addo hopes he can improve the team's ranking further when they return to action next month in the friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
