The Ghana national football team have received a major boost with the return of Iñaki Williams, Ibrahim Sulemana, Thomas Partey and Alexander Djiku ahead of the upcoming international friendlies later this month.
Head coach Otto Addo confirmed their return in his latest call-up on Monday, March 16, 2026, as the Black Stars prepare to face Austria and Germany in two friendly matches scheduled for the end of March.
The quartet missed Ghana’s previous squad for the Kirin Cup friendlies against Japan and South Korea for different reasons. Williams was sidelined due to injury, while Partey and Djiku were recovering from fitness concerns. Sulemana was not included in that squad.
Their return is expected to add experience and depth as Ghana intensify preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will face Austria on March 27 before taking on Germany three days later as part of their build-up to the tournament, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
