In a groundbreaking effort to make Artificial Intelligence (AI) careers accessible to all, Blossom Academy, in collaboration with Chancen International ISA Ghana and Brighter Investment Ltd, has launched a fully-supported AI Fellowship aimed at unemployed graduates from all academic backgrounds. 

The program, which runs from August 2025 to May 2026, promises to equip participants with high-demand tech skills—without requiring upfront tuition fees.

The 7 to 10-month program blends rigorous classroom training with hands-on industry internships, preparing graduates for careers in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence—fields that are increasingly reshaping industries across the globe.

“We’re excited to partner with Chancen International ISA Ghana and Brighter Investment Ltd to democratize AI education in Ghana,” said Pamela Afari, Admissions Manager at Blossom Academy. 

“This collaboration removes financial barriers for talented graduates seeking high-demand AI and data science skills.”

Designed specifically for graduates with no prior coding knowledge, the Fellowship covers: Python programming, machine learning, predictive modelling, fundamentals of AI, all taught in a beginner-friendly, structured format.

Virtual classes will take place Monday to Wednesday, with in-person sessions every Thursday. Following a 16-week training phase, fellows will transition into internships lasting up to six months, applying their new skills in real-world settings.

The program runs on an Income Share Agreement (ISA) model, ensuring that participants can learn now and pay later—only after securing employment. Unlike traditional loans, the ISA requires no interest and no repayment until fellows are earning a salary, offering a more inclusive pathway to upward mobility.

“We intentionally welcome diverse academic backgrounds—from business to healthcare to agriculture—because combining domain expertise with AI capabilities creates powerful real-world solutions,” Afari added.

As Ghana continues to expand its digital economy, initiatives like the Blossom AI Fellowship aim to bridge the talent gap, reduce graduate unemployment, and position young professionals for success in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
