A club for owners of BMW-automobile and individuals passionate about the global brand has been launched in Accra Tuesday.
Christened BMW Club Ghana, the group is aimed at providing a forum where users of the brand will access expert advice to improve their driving experience.
It is also to provide a platform for owners of BMW-automobile to network, embark on fun activities and undertake charity programmes, Club president, Benjamin Kwadwo Oppong, told Myjoyonline.com.
"We've been able to organise ourselves in terms of being visible and spreading the love that comes with using the brand," he said in an interview.

Officials of Mechanical Lloyd Company Limited, franchisee for BMW vehicles in Ghana, were present to support the official launch of the Club held at Accra Polo Club.
There are such clubs in more than 50 countries including the United States, Nigeria, Malaysia and South Africa that have brought together enthusiasts and BMW users.
To Mr Oppong, it is more than a club. "It is basically car-driven and owner-driven," he said.
BMW Club Ghana has shown the commitment to reduce road carnage largely blamed on motorists through its many outreach programmes.
Club Vice president, Stephen Essoun said the group wants to "make a name worldwide" through its activities that are life-impacting.
"The public should expect the best from this club because BMW is a luxury brand that we are proud to associate with," he said, adding there are arrangements to provide an insurance package for members.
Mr Essoun said the Club has held talks with many insurance companies including Hollard Insurance to provide either a comprehensive or third-party cover for members.
"If you join the club, you are entitled to a health card for you to access services easily without delay," he added.
