Mr. Samson Kwaku Boafo, Minister of Chieftaincy and Culture Affairs, has appealed to churches and mosques to set aside some days to pray for peace to return to Bawku.Mr. Boafo said this in Bolgatanga when he met chiefs at the Regional House of Chiefs to interact with them to see how peace could return to Bawku.He said if religious leaders could set aside some days to pray for peace to return to the area, God would listen and answer them.Mr Boafo commended institutions that are engaged in the peace process and appealed to them to continue and that whatever happened in Bawku affected the whole country and urged the feuding functions to stop the conflict since it was hampering development in the area.Source: GNA
