Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is optimistic that Schalke can cruise to the Uefa Champions League quarter-finals by seeing off Real Madrid.
The former AC Milan anchor man stated that it would not come easy but the Gelsenkirchen side need to keep improving game after game in the German top flight.
“We have to take things one game at a time. If we keep playing like we are, I have no doubts at all [that we will qualify],” Boateng told Bundesliga.com.
“It's as simple as that, but we have to put up a fight each weekend, not only with the opposition, but also with ourselves to ensure we maintain our current level of performance.”
The Veltins Arena outfit are enjoying an impressive run this second round of the Bundesliga season and have lost just a game.
