The Bank of Ghana said it has come to its notice that sections of the media continue to report that it has instructed banks to impose fees and charges on foreign deposit, but that information is not correct.A statement issued by the Public Affairs Office of the BOG said “The Bank wishes to reiterate to the General Public and all stakeholders that it has not issued any such directive to the banks.”
