The Bolgatanga Central Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Emmanuel Adugbire Atenga, has urged the youth wing of the party to intensify their campaign for the total victory of NPP in Election 2012.
Mr. Atenga noted that the youth have a greater stake in the socio-economic transformation of the country, hence, the need for them to be at the forefront of the campaign for victory.
Mr. Atenga made this known in an interview with the GNA in Bolgatanga.
He called for the total commitment of the youth to return the NPP to power in the next General Election to continue with its good works.
Mr. Atenga observed that winning elections do not lie in the destruction of posters of opponents but through effective organisation and dedication to the political course.
He called on supporters of the party to forge unity of purpose and mutual respect for one another and eschew hatred and petty squabbles, which he noted are the ingredients of destruction.
Mr. Atenga urged the youth to visit every part of the constituency to campaign for the party's victory.
He noted that there is a special package underway for the old executives and elders of the party to motivate them to bury their differences and work together to return the party to power.Source: GNA
