The people of Bolga, the Upper East regional capital are struggling to come to terms with circumstances that resulted in the delivery of a piglet which has the face of human.
The owner of the pig, John Akologu who lives at Sawaba, a suburb of Bolga, was shocked when he woke up on Friday morning to see his pregnant pig litter the strange ‘kind’, which has the face of a human but with the rest body as a pig.
It is covered with furs all over its body, except the face where the fur is light showing a mouth instead of a snout, a disfigured nose and human eyes.
Asempa News correspondent, Osei Junior, described the amazing piglet as strange, and said it shies away when attempts are made to photograph it.
Asempa News has learnt that veterinary and other medical officers are trying to unravel the mystery surrounding the strange birth.
There are widespread speculations someone in the neighbourhood or close to the the mother pig has been 'seeing' it.
