A nine-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after a strange stray bullet which came into his parents’ living room through the roof narrowly missed him.
Kwasi Opare Kwakye, according to his mother, was sitting on the exact spot where the bullet hit and created a small hole only moments before the incident.
She instructed the boy to get up from the floor and no sooner had he done that than the mysterious bullet came through the roof, the ceiling and hit at the spot where he was sitting, the perplexed mother of two told Luv FM’s Erastus Asare Donkor.
She said a loud sound preceded the arrival of the bullet in their living room.
Her husband in an attempt to find out what happened saw the bullet in the room.
An official of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Asokwa Police who went to the roof to assess the situation, told Erastus there was no logical explanation as to where the bullet may have come from.
He however said it could have come from a military jet undertaking some training exercises in the area.
