Nigerian musician Burna Boy is set to make his debut performance at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
The event will come off on February 4, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, US.
The 'It's Plenty' hitmaker has been added to the star-studded performers lineup, alongside artistes such as Luke Combs, Travis Scott, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo.
While African musicians have been nominated for the award ceremony over the years, Burna Boy's upcoming performance marks a historic moment as he becomes the first artiste from the continent to take the Grammy stage.

In addition to his performance, Burna Boy has been nominated in four categories at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
His nominations include Best Global Music Album for "I Told Them," the inaugural Best African Music Performance for "City Boys," Best Global Music Performance for "Alone," and Best Melodic Rap Performance for "Sittin’ On Top Of The World."
It's worth noting that Burna Boy is no stranger to Grammy success. He has been nominated 10 times for a Grammy and in 2021 secured the Best Global Music Album award for "Twice As Tall" at the 63rd Grammy Awards in 2021.
