The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed that all Diplomatic Missions, Consuls and their families disembarking from a mission at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) should be exempted from taking the mandatory Covid-19 test upon arrival.
In a letter forwarded to the British High Commission and sighted by Joy Business, the Minister stated: “With effect from Tuesday 6th October, staff of diplomatic missions, International Organizations and Honorary Consuls duly accredited to the Republic of Ghana including their respective families are exempted from taking the mandatory Covid-19 test for inbound passengers on arrival at KIA”.
They are, however, expected to follow all the Covid-19 safety protocols put in place at the Airport.
