A member of the NPP communications team, Kwamena Duncan has called the competence of the Cabinet into question. Kwamena Duncan, who was reacting to the Cabinet decision not to sell the No.2 Mungo Street bungalow to Jake Obetsebi Lamptey said Cabinet is being petty. The NPP activist was speaking on Peace FM’s morning programme, Kokrokoo, Wednesday. He said he is not surprised that the same cabinet that took a decision to boycott Multimedia Group Limited is responsible for disrespecting a Supreme Court ruling. Kwamena Duncan said the decision of cabinet could only be because "law students" have surrounded President Mills. He further added cabinet per the decisions they have taken so far have shown that they are incapable of initiating any good policy. The NPP activist accused cabinet of trying to paint President Mills as "morally upright" as against his opponents who they sought picture otherwise. He said the decision cabinet took was absurd which was meant to woo vulnerable sections of the public. According to Kwamena Duncan, there are people in the current government who have also benefited from the policy which saw the NPP Chairman, acquire his former duty post at the No.2 Mungo Street, Ridge.
