MTN FA Cup champions Dreams Football Club will face Stade Malien in the quarterfinal stage of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.
Dreams will face the Malian side in the last-eight stage of the competition after Tuesday afternoon's draw.
The Ghana Premier League side advanced to the knockout stage of the competition at the first time of asking, finishing second in their group.
The Still Believe lads book their place in the next round of the competition despite their 2-1 defeat to Rivers United in their final group game.
Dreams’ qualification was confirmed following Club Africain’s draw against AC Lobito in the other group game.Â
Just like Dreams, Stade Malien also finished second in their group. Their 10 points saw them end the group stages as runners-up behind RSB Berkane.
Should Dreams overcome the challenge from Stade Malien, they will come up against one of Future FC or Zamalek in the semifinal stage of the competition.

By qualifying for the next stage, Dreams FC became the first Ghana Premier League side to reach the knockout round of the CAF Confederation Cup since Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in 2004.
