FC Nordsjaelland forward Prince Amoako has heaped praise on teammate Caleb Yirenkyi, describing the midfielder as 'crazily insane.'
Yirenkyi has been one of the consistent performers in the Nordsjaelland dressing room since breaking into the first team.
His consistent performances also earned him a call-up to the Black Stars team, where he has gone on to make eight appearances, including featuring in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Despite being lauded for his performances, Amoako Junior, who plays alongside Yirenkyi at the Danish top-flight side, says the midfielder is not swollen-headed about the praises.
"Caleb [Yirenkyi] doesn’t see himself the way we see him because he’s a very humble guy. He just focuses more on his work," he told Joy Sports.
"Caleb is insane, he’s crazily good. I say this every time because he delivers almost every time, every game, and to keep that consistency is top level.
"Caleb is a superstar, and I tell him so much every time, but he wants to achieve a lot too."
In the 2025/26 season, Yirenkyi has made 21 appearances across all competitions for Nordsjaelland, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
The midfielder is also in line to join the Black Stars flight to the 2026 World Cup later this year, barring any injury concerns.
