Calm has been restored to the Bunkpurugu Yunyoo district of the Northern Region after three days of violent clashes between the Konkombas and the Bimobas.
At least six people are feared dead whilst five villages were set ablaze as riotous youth from both ethnic groups engaged in reprisal attacks.
Joy News has learnt that military and additional police personnel deployed to the conflict area have managed to bring the situation under control.
The clash resulted from a dispute between two men at the local market.
