Calm is said to have returned to the Dorungo and Sokabisi communities in the Upper East Region after violent clashes there yesterday.
Four persons were seriously injured in the fight over a disputed parcel of land.
The feuding factions allegedly hit each other with various offensive weapons and also burnt down a house.
Regional Commander, DCOP Bright Oduro, told Joy News his men are on the ground to maintain law and order.
He said the clashes were not widespread.
No arrests have yet been made, he said.
A house was burnt down Thursday afternoon when the clash ensued among indigenes of the two communities.
According to the assembly man of the Dorungo community, Maxwell Adongo where the house was set ablaze, alleged they were attacked on their land by persons from Sokabisi, a town close by.
