A spokesman for Orange Democratic Movement, loyal to the defeated presidential candidate Raila Odinga, accused the government of not interested in a mediated solution.
The main opposition party in Kenya is calling for a return to mass action against President Mwai Kibaki following the collapse of diplomatic efforts to resolve the post-election crisis.
A group of eminent Africans led by the former United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan, has been asked to take over mediation after efforts lead by the head of the African Union, President John Kufuor of Ghana failed.
More than 500 people have been killed in ethnic clashes sparked by the political unrest and 250,000 others forced to flee their homes.
Is the opposition right in calling for mass protests? How should Mr Kibaki react? What role can the international community play to resolve the crisis? Are you in Kenya? What do you think can be done to resolve this crisis? What's happening where you are?
