Mr Prince Abraham Quaye, an aspiring independent presidential candidate, on Monday said he would launch “an industrial and agrarian revolution” to help create jobs for the youth.
"I will reduce taxes and interest rates to ensure that prices of goods and services are affordable to lessen the burden on the citizenry," Mr Abraham Quaye, a 50-year-old management consultant, said at a press conference in Accra to announce his intention to contest for Election 2008.
He assured Ghanaians that all was not lost because he had the solution to the problems that faced by the country.
Mr Quaye, who in 2004 announced his bid to contest the vote as an independent candidate but dropped out due to what he called lack of funds, appealed to Ghanaians to be optimistic saying the future looked very bright.
He appealed to all well meaning Ghanaians who believed in his cause to support him financially to enable him to run an effective campaign to win the elections.
