Cardiff City manager Dave Jones has challenged Ghanaian forward Quincy Owusu-Abeyie to make an impact on the English Championship run-in.There was reports that the Holland-born player fell out with the manager but Jones dismissed rumours of a bust-up with the striker as 'ridiculous'.Owusu-Abeyie has made just three substitute appearance for the Bluebirds since arriving on loan from Spartak Moscow and has not featured in the match day 16 over the past month. But Jones, who included the striker in his travelling squad of 22 for Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace, insists he is still very much in his plans."Quincy is fine – and he remains a big player in our squad," said Jones."But, like every other player, he has to do more."Darren Purse, Tony Capaldi and more are in similar situations and they have to show the coaching staff and I every day in training they are ready for the challenge."He is disappointed, of course. Everybody wants to play. It's the same for every player in the squad."I've heard ridiculous rumours about a bust-up. There was talk that Quincy left Ninian Park at a home game, went to his car and drove away. That is nonsense."Quincy, like every other player, has a big role to play."We have taken 22 players to Crystal Palace because we are all in this together. I have no problems with Quincy and he knows exactly what he needs to do.Source: Ghanasoccernet"He has to deliver – whether it’s in training or matches. Quincy has to push on."
