CEDINOMICS has organised the second edition of its Executive Leadership Development Programme.The second edition was motivated by the great feedback received from organisations that participated in the first edition organised in May, and was attended by managers and heads of units from diverse institutions such as First Capital Plus, EDC Investments, Emos Consultancy, Eaton Towers, Child Care Solutions, TOR Co-operative Union, Quality Insurance, Manya Krobo Rural Bank, Sam Okudjeto & Associates, Hayibor, Djabeng, Danso & Co., among others.On the first day, the workshop focused on discussing topics such as emotional intelligence and leadership behaviour.Participants were on the second day taken through various team-building techniques, how to identify and play on the strengths of each team-member, and assisted to develop SMART targets for their various units as well as how to communicate organisational aspirations.The highlight of the training programme was development of personal leadership development plans which put participants on a journey of personal transformation.Speaking about the reason for organising the Essentials of Leadership Programme, Robert Bennin, Senior Advisor at CEDINOMICS, had this to say: “CEDINOMICS is committed to enterprise transformation on the African continent.We believe this can only be achieved through the design and delivery of world-class leadership development programmes that prepares executive teams and middle managers to effectively respond to the leadership challenges associated with building sustainable enterprises in fast-developing emerging markets.”A participant speaking at the end of the training programme had this to say: “I don’t remember ever having made time for a deep, insightful search within myself like I have done on this programme. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to take part in this programme. After all, everyone can be a leader.”The workshop was facilitated by Robert Bennin, a Chartered Financial Analyst and Senior Advisor with CEDINOMICS.CEDINOMICS is a research-based training and advisory firm that is focused on assisting organisations to understand their markets, develop competitive strategies and increase employee engagement. CEDINOMICS intends to run The Essentials of Leadership Programme again in July.
