The CEO Network Ghana has announced that a 15-member delegation from its leadership will pay a courtesy call on President-elect John Mahama.
This visit aims to congratulate Mr Mahama on his electoral victory and to engage in meaningful discussions about Ghana's economic future.
The delegation seeks to collaborate with the incoming administration on initiatives that will drive business and economic transformation in 2025 and beyond.
The discussions are expected to focus on several critical areas of economic growth and development. One key priority is the promotion of agribusiness as a foundation for economic growth and food security.
The delegation will explore strategies to improve the ease of doing business in Ghana, making the country more attractive to both local and foreign investors.
The meeting will also address the need for regulatory reforms to create a transparent and predictable business environment.
Additionally, discussions will cover industrialization, job creation, and digitization as part of broader economic reforms aimed at boosting Ghana's global competitiveness.
Another significant agenda item is the proposal to establish a Business Advisory Council. This initiative is intended to foster continuous dialogue between the government and the private sector, ensuring that policies reflect the needs and aspirations of businesses across the country.
The CEO Network Ghana also plans to discuss the introduction of a National Economic Dialogue, a platform that would encourage inclusive policymaking and collaboration for sustainable economic growth.
By engaging in this strategic partnership with the President-elect, the CEO Network Ghana reaffirms its commitment to championing the country’s economic prosperity.
The organization believes that the private sector will play a pivotal role in achieving transformative growth under the incoming administration.
This meeting is anticipated to set the stage for a strengthened relationship between the government and the private sector, paving the way for inclusive and innovative economic policies that will benefit all Ghanaians.
