Newly-promoted Ghanaian Premier League side, Bechem-Chelsea, have struck a partnership deal with kit manufacturing firm, PUMA.
The deal with the club is based on the long-standing relationship between its Board Chairman, Anthony Yeboah and Puma.
Former Ghana international, Yeboah, is currently a football ambassador for the firm. A relationship he managed to build during his playing career in Germany.
Chelsea were presented with 75 pairs of boots and 4 sets of jerseys for a start and hope for an improved deal in the coming years.
" We are pleased to contribute to football development in Africa and are proud to work closely with Anthony on football related matters," sport promotion manager in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Manolo Schuermann, said.
Yeboah is optimistic his side will jerk the needed result to sustain the relationship.
“I’m very grateful because we have some of the senior clubs they don't have that sponsorship or thing like that and the new promotion from the first division to have something like this, I think it's something special for us," Yeboah told Ghanasoccernet.com
"I hope we are not going to disappoint PUMA, we are going to prove ourselves, we're going to play very good football so that they going to continue sponsoring us."
