The Osu Divisional Council on Thursday gave assurance that it would assist schools within its jurisdiction to enhance their academic exercise.The Council, led by Nii Nortey Owuo II, Osu Mantse gave the assurance during a visited to the schools to assess the level of infrastructural assistance needed by the schools.The schools visited included St. Barnabas Anglican, Osu Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and Nursery, St. Peters Catholic Basic School, Osu Home School, South La Estate School, Tenashie A and B Primary School and the Manhean school.The visit revealed that most of the schools lacked basic infrastructure, which was inhibiting smooth academic exercise.
Nii Nortey Owuo said that the Council was committed to ensuring that schools within its jurisdiction were properly resourced to enhance teaching and learning.Source: GNA
