The New Tafo Area of the Church of Pentecost in Kumasi, has held its Easter Convention with a call on Christians to reconcile with God and live in peace with their neighbours.
Pastor J. K. Arhin, head of Ahwiaa District of the Church, made the call, when he was delivering the sermon on the theme: “The God of the Living Died for You”, at the occasion.
He said because the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ brought humankind closer to God, Christians should show love, care and affection for all.
Pastor Arhin enjoined Christians to lead lives that would bring dignity and honour to Christianity, saying “through the blood of Jesus, we are justified, forgiven and redeemed”.
Apostle Rigwell Ato Addison, head of the New Tafo Area Church, urged Christians to manifest acceptable lifestyles, saying: “Let us show Christ-like qualities not only in Church but wherever we find ourselves”.
He said the Church was committed to producing Christians that would positively influence the lives of non-Christians.
