The Member of Parliament for Cape Coast, Ms Christine Churcher has countered criticisms that she has neglected the constituency and has failed to develop it to expectation.
Some of the constituents have been very critical of the MP’s performance. The latest criticism comes from the NDC’s Central Regional propaganda secretary, Allotey Jacobs who told VALCO News in Cape Coast that Madam Churcher has disappointed the electorate and should be voted out if she seeks the mandate of the people in the next elections.
But the MP says the criticisms are unwarranted and are politically motivated.
She insists in an interview with Joy FM’s Evans Mensah that she has discharged her duties as an MP creditably.
Ms Churcher said she was not surprised at the allegation coming from the NDC, a party she has defeated on three occasions at the polls and she was set to repeat the dose.
