Former Ghana captain C.K Akunnor says his sour experience as coach of Accra Hearts of Oak is making it difficult for him to take on another coaching job.
The Phobians terminated the contract of Akunnor 2 years ago and since then the former Eleven Wise coach has not taken up any job.
Akunnor in told Joy Sports that the circumstances under which he left Hearts have thought him a lesson on making his next move.
“I have been reserved or a bit cold about the coaching issue because of what happened with me at Accra Hearts of Oak and also our perception, the way we think about the game,” said Akunnor.
“Sometimes you talk to a member of a team and you are not encouraged on the kind of things you hear but it doesn’t mean I have stopped because I’m still interested in coaching and I wont to do it but at the right time.
“I want to be sure the team I’m going to, check if we have the same ideology and philosophy, it might differ but we must always agree on one principle.”
