Legendary coach, Herbert Addo has signed a one year deal to take charge of newly promoted Wassaman United next season.
The former Hearts and Kotoko coach, who made history by leading Aduana Stars to win their first domestic league title two seasons ago, scouted for Wassaman during the off-season.
General Manager of Wassaman, Kurt Okraku is confident Coach Herbert Addo can propel the club to enviable heights.
He told JOY Sports, “We think that he’s seen it all locally. He is one of the most experienced hands on the local front. I mean just two seasons ago he won the league title and therefore for a club like us to lay hands on Herbert Addo it is a plus.
He added, “We have absolute confidence in his ability. We have absolute confidence in the players he has selected and we think that together as a team, we can be very competitive.”
Coach Herbert Addo’s first game in charge of the club will be the Premier League opener against Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park.
