The Chiefs and people of Adoe, a farming community in the Nkoranza district of Brong Ahafo has commended Kwame Tanor, a community leader for donating eight million cedis in support of on-going development programmes in the community.
Mr. Tanor, a Techiman-based businessman provided roofing sheets towards the construction of a three-classroom block for the local primary school and supported the area's electricity project.Joseph Oduro, former chairman of the unit committee in the area said that Mr. Tanor had been very supportive to the development of the community.
He called on other well-to-do citizens of the area to emulate Mr. Tanor.
The people of Adoe wished Mr Tanor good luck and success in all his daily activities and prayed to God to continue helping him to enable him to offer more of such support towards the development of the community.
Mr. Oduro commended the people for their unity, co-operative spirit and interest in communal labour activities, which he said would enhance the development of the community.
Meanwhile, the people are constructing a place of convenience to enhance sanitation in the area.Source: GNA
