A four-kilometre road is being constructed at New Krobo in Techiman municipality to help accelerate the development of the area.
Three big culverts will be constructed to check erosion, Mr Kwabena Adjei, Director of Assurance Secondary Technical College has said after inspecting of the on-going projects.
Mr Adjei said because there were no good access roads, people and vehicles found it difficult to commute to and from the area any time it rained.
He said the projects were being undertaken following an appeal he made to the Assembly, adding the municipal and urban roads departments were in charge of the project.
The Assembly Member commended Prince Yaw Donyina, Municipal Chief Executive and the urban roads engineer for their swift response to the people’s cry for help.
