Cosmo Seafoods Co Ltd, in Tema represented by Cosmo Youth Power (CYP) made a donation to the SOS Children’s village in community 10 Tema on 1st July 2016.
The activities for the day included a Clean up exercise of their 15 houses, Medical Screening of the children and their care givers, Provision of breakfast and lunch and Donations of several items including Toilet Rolls, Bags of Rice, Disinfectants, cooking oil, canned tuna products, medications, soaps etc.
Chairman of the group, OseiYaw Nana Adom, reiterated that the children are the backbone of the Economy and as such they should be given the necessary support to become responsible citizens of our country.
He mentioned that this is this activity marks the beginning of such benevolent programs the company intends to be having with the Children’s village.
The children and village families were very happy to meet the staff of Cosmo who shared lots of life experiences and fun with them.
Management of the SOS village were very happy for such an occasion.
Programme Director of the village, Rosemond Boamah, the who received the items on behalf of the village expressed her gratitude to the Management and staff of Cosmo Seafoods Company Ltd for their immense support for the children.
