A Bibiani Circuit Court, presided over by Justice Emmanuel Ankamah, has remanded a 23-year old housewife into prison custody for allegedly stabbing her husband with a pair of scissors.

At about 0100 hours the next day, the accused woke her husband from sleep and demanded an explanation to his relationship with another woman.
Chief Inspector Abotsi said Gyaame denied the accusation but Theresa who was not convinced, thus, he held her husband’s genitals and he shouted for help.
Neighbours forced the door open and as they were struggling to rescue Gyaame, Theresa picked a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the abdomen.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment and a report was made to the police leading to the arrest of the accused.
