The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has recorded five more Covid-19 related deaths.
A total of 1,052 deaths have been recorded as of August 30, according to the GHS' latest update.
Active cases currently stand at 6,940. Out of this figure, 147 cases are severe whereas 60 others are considered critical.

The Ghana Health Service recorded 449 new cases. This brings the country's total confirmed cases to 120,452.
So far, 112,460 individuals have been discharged from the health facilities after recovering.
Meanwhile, the government today, September 4, received 1.2 doses of Moderna vaccines through the COVAX Facility.
Deputy Minister of Health, Mr Mahama Asei Seini, who on behalf of government received the vaccines at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) reiterated the efforts put in place by the government to attain herd immunity in its fight against the pandemic.
