Seven more persons have died of the novel coronavirus as of February 1, 2021.
This is according to the Ghana Health Service's (GHS) latest figures on the pandemic.
GHS also revealed that 696 new infections have taken the number of active cases to 6,086.

Out of this, 35 patients are in critical condition while 98 are severely ill.

So far, 69,255 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Ghana with 62,729 recoveries/discharged.
