Seven more individuals have succumbed to the deadly coronavirus diseases according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
In its latest update, this brings the total number of deaths to 1,125 within 48 hours.
As of September 16, the GHS recorded 4,295 active cases. There has been a slight increase in active cases recorded.
A total of 2,286 active cases were recorded as of September 14.
Currently, 118 people who tested positive for the virus are in severe condition whereas 42 others are critical.

Also, 304 new cases have been recorded in eight regions and the Kotoka International Airport.
Cumulatively, Ghana's total confirmed cases stand at 125,565 cases. Out of the 125,565 who fell prey to the virus, 120,145 individuals have recovered and have been discharged.
