The country’s active Covid-19 cases has increased to 7,353 according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The Service in its latest update indicated that as of December 23rd, 2021 a total of 1,197 new cases of Covid-19 has been recorded with 1,280 death cases.

Per the Services’ data, there has been 17 severe cases with zero critical cases recorded in the same time.
GHS added that a number of 130,324 cases have been recovered and discharged.

Cumulative cases per Region are as follows;
Greater Accra Region – 76,187, Ashanti Region – 21,316, Western Region – 7,619, Eastern Region – 6,641, Volta Region – 5,490, Central Region – 5,045, Bono East Region – 2,566, Bono Region – 2,126, Northern Region – 1,767, Upper East Region – 1,503, Ahafo Region – 1,060, Western North Region – 1,025, Oti Region – 850, Upper West Region – 743, North East Region – 283 and Savannah Region – 262.
