The Convention Peoples Party has said it is alarmed at the recent crime wave. The past few weeks have seen a number of highway robberies and armed attacks in various parts of the country. The Police administration insists its statistics do not show an increase in crime and is asking the public not to panic. But CPP Shadow Minister for Interior George Aggudey disagreed. Mr Aggudey will be meeting the press today to outline the CPP’s strategies on security when voted into power. He told Joy News the party will also offer useful advice to government for improved security. Source: Joy News/Ghana
