With barely three months before the 2012 general elections, the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has disclosed that it will outdoor its vice-presidential on September 30.
The party is tight-lipped on who the party will unveil as the running-mate to its flag-bearer, Dr. Abu Sakara.
Nii Armah Akomfra, Communications Director of the party, speaking on Election Headquarters on Joy FM Monday, said the candidate is a candidate of substance.
He said CPP’s flagbearer, Dr Abu Sakara, “has said that on the 30th of September he will name his running mate so as a party, we are waiting to outdoor the running mate and then he will continue with the campaign with the running mate.”
Dr Abu Sakara is currently campaigning in the three Northern regions of the country and is expected to be back in Accra in time to announce the running mate.
