The leadership of CSquared recently visited GRIDCo's Tema Office to reaffirm their partnership established in 2019.
During the visit, discussions centred on their ongoing collaboration and potential areas for further cooperation.
Lanre Kolade, CEO of CSquared, shared his vision of providing internet access to all villages and hinterlands in Ghana, highlighting its crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also discussed CSquared's strategic investments in the sub-region and their intention to interconnect the entire African continent to reduce internet data costs.

Mr. Kolade expressed the potential to lower data costs significantly, possibly reaching as low as $2 per megabyte with expanded capacity.
CSquared has made substantial investments, including a $500,000 piece of equipment, aimed at fostering new partnerships and collaborations, particularly with GRIDCo to connect Ghana and Togo.
GRIDCo's Chief Executive, Ebenezer Essienyi, commended CSquared for the quality of service in their existing partnership and expressed GRIDCo's openness to considering the new proposals discussed in the meeting.

Estelle Akofio-Sowah, West Africa Regional Manager of Csquared, accompanied Lanre Kolade, while Monica Senanu, Director of Legal Services; Samuel Nkansah, Director Finance; Samuel Kow Acquah Ag. Director of the Office of the CEO; Pius Avio, Manager of Grid Consult, and Wofa Kwarteng, Manager of the Executive Office, joined the Chief Executive in the meeting.
