If you think TV3 has run out of juice after putting together 'Mentor', ‘Looking for love’ and ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful’, think again! They are just about to roll out yet another offering for dancers.
‘Dance Fever’ will be the new thing to look out for on TV3. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 35 years and is adept with solid dance moves is welcome to audition for the competition.
All short listed contestants will school in a ballroom dancing, the waltz, the twist, salsa, highlife and freestyle dance moves for 12 weeks.
Thereafter, Ghanaians will be given the mandate to choose who is most talented to be the ‘Dance fever’ champion.
The winner will be ¢100 million richer.
“The contestant must prove that they have musical feet in all kinds of dancers-ballroom dance, salsa etc. The important thing is for the contestants to have the feet for dancing,” TV3’s Public Relations Manager Janet Carboo Danquah, says.
“Certain dances like ballroom, salsa, the twist and even highlife-the young ones don’t know how to really dance. So we are going to teach them how to do it. Week after week in the house experts in all these different dance skills will be there to school these dancers properly on the right moves.
Between the 16th and 20th of April, auditions will be opened from 9am to 5pm.
