Nigerian music sensation, Davido has won the Best International Act (Africa) category at the 2014 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Sunday night.

The Nigerian, known in real life as David Adedeji Adeleke, beat Ghana's fastest rapper Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Mafikizolo (South African) and Toofan (Togo) to win the award.

Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince won the award at the 2013 edition of the awards.
