Black Stars' Manager, Claude Le Roy has attributed his team's improved performance in the 26th African Nations Cup underway in Ghana to dedication.
Ghana played their best football in the competition against Morocco on Monday to ensure a 2-0 win that keeps them at the summit of the group.
And Le Roy says the players' dedication made the difference in the game, which the Stars dominated for the entire duration.
"The dedication of the team was 100 per cent today and that was telling in our performance."
The French trainer said the team worked hard tactically for the game and was thankful his charges executed to perfection, their plot to devour the Moroccans.
"The players' application of our plan was exact and I must congratulate them for that."
Le Roy underlines the team's performance as the best ever since he assumed the reins of the team a year ago.
He said the Black Stars came into the game with the mentality to win instead of pushing for a draw that could have still qualified them to the last eight.
"It is not our style to go for only a point when we can as well fight for all the three.
"We didn't want to take chances and wait for another result to know we have qualified, so we took our destiny into our hands and the boys' reaction was apt."
