The Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Scout Association (GSA) has sent a congratulatory message to Ms Jemima Nartey, Deputy Chief Commissioner of the GSA for her election to serve on the Africa Scout Committee.The eight-member committee, which is the highest decision-making body in Scouting in the Africa Scout region, has its headquarters based in Nariobi, Kenya.Sheik Mohammed Kamil Mohammed, Ashanti Regional Commissioner of the Association in the message on Wednesday, described the appointment as challenging.He appealed to Ms Nartey to work harder to help ensure the growth and development of the association in Africa."We in the Ashanti region are solidly behind you and wish you well in all your endeavours, he said.Source: GNA
