Satellites coach Didi Dramani has admitted his side have been let down following their failure to qualify for the African Youth Championship.
The Satellites failed to overturn a 3-1 deficit from the first leg as they only managed to score a lone goal through Charles Boateng.
A crestfallen Dramani, who doubles as the coach of the Black Princess did not hesitate to admit disappointment.
“It is very disappointing. We came in to score as many goalst as we can but unfortunately we couldn’t. We came in to score more and avoid conceding,” Dramani told the media after the game.
“We did one aspect by not conceding but we couldn’t score more than one goal as we expected.
“My players are let down but that is football. We hope for the best in the near future."

The Satellites had excelled in the previous two editions of the tournament going as far as qualifying for the World Cup in both editions, but
Dramani is adamant the heartbreak cannot be termed as a failure.
“We didn’t achieve what we had anticipated to have achieved but in terms of saying it is a failure I wouldn’t say so because some of these boys did not get the opportunity of coming this far but in terms of experience they have had a level of development,” he said
“We would have wished to have gone through in order to give this team a better facelift in order to achieve the objective we had set for the squad.
“Once we have life there is still the opportunity to get better and I know these boys will definitely get better.”
Senegal qualify for the Championship in Zambia next year.
