Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will meet in the group stage of the ATP World Tour finals at London's O2 Arena later this month.
The tournament runs from November 15-22 with the world's top eight players qualifiying for the event. Tomas Berdych and Kei Nishikori make up the Stan Smith group involving world number one Djokovic and 17-times Grand Slam champion Federer.
British number one Andy Murray - who leads GB in the Davis Cup final on Belgian clay a week later - will face French Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka, 14-times Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer in his group with the winner of his section facing the runner-up in the other group.
That is likely to be Djokovic or Federer, assuming they both win their other group matches.
“Short and sweet draw is good,” joked Federer. “I’m excited to be back, can’t wait for it to start.”
Federer (six) and Djokovic (four) have 10 titles between them at the event, and are the only former champions in the field. Federer infamously withdrew from last year's final with Djokovic citing a back injury before Switzerland's Davis Cup final with Belgium.
