Why are people excited to watch the bout?
The super bantamweight division is one of the most underrated in the sport with guys like Luis Nery, Rey Vargas, and Diego De La Hoya all sporting undefeated records as well. The Magdaleno-Dogboe bout will take a step toward finding out which fighter is the best at 122 pounds. Magdaleno is just 26 and Dogboe is 23, so the fighters are in or close to their physical prime.
Any big names in the telecast?
Yes. ESPN boxing commentators Joe Tessitore and Mark Kriegel, along with former world titleholder Timothy Bradley Jr. and reporter Bernardo Osuna, will call the fight from ringside.
