Tema Youth regained the top spot in Zone Three of Ghana's Division One League following their victory over Kwaebibirem.
The Harbour Warriors recorded an essential win against Kwaebibirem over the weekend and their return to the top position was fueled by Liberty Professional's loss to Golden Kicks.
Prior to matchday 27, Liberty beat Team Youth in a top of the table clash o Wednesday, May 18, at the Tema Stadium to clear three points clear of the Tema-based side.
However, the Scientific Soccer lads' stay at the top of the table lasted for just days as they suffered defeat to Golden Kicks on Sunday, May 22.
With Tema Youth also recording a 1-0 win away from home on Sunday, Nebojsa Kapor's side now regains the top position, moving ahead of Liberty due to goal difference.
With just three games to go, there could be a blockbuster finish to the Division One League season as part of who gets promoted from Zone Three to the Ghana Premier League.
